Newsletters
Editor
Throughout my time as a youth & young adult pastor, one of the primary strategies for communicating clearly & consistently with our families was through regular email newsletters. These included: text, pictures, graphics, videos & links. I was heavily involved in the approval of the design work, laying out the structure, crafting of the text, and in linking to destinations that both grew our audience and filtered their involvement in our programs.

Social Media
Strategist & Editor
Social Media is inevitable in our culture and provides one of the quickest ways to get your message in front of an audience. Our goal was to add value to our students and their families through our social media channels whether that be through event reminders, conversation starters, recap videos, or inspiring content. I always felt like our social media served as the "front door" to our program - providing a first look and feel for the experience families could expect to have with us.

Despite the digital revolution, we still saw significant value in being able to put physical invites, promotional cards, posters & flyers in our families' hands. Not to mention shirts, hats, and sweaters on their backs. All of our programs & events had accompanying print & design pieces to go along with them.
